Our Head Surf Coach Scott has spent many years working in the industry and heads up a highly-qualified team of instructors with the help of Mike, and many others. All of our instructor team are selected because they understand and uphold our ethos of fun and safety at all times. Every one of our team are DBS checked, Safeguarding trained, and hold Lifeguard and Surf Coaching awards. We are fully insured and approved by Surfing England.
Whether you are a complete beginner, intermediate or just need a few top tips, we can help you progress quickly and safely on one of Cornwall’s best surfing beaches; Summerleaze beach is dog-friendly, perfect for families, and boasts the unique Bude Sea Pool.
Daily Group Sessions
Join our daily 2.5 hour group sessions aimed at all ages and abilities, with a minimum ratio of 1 instructor to 8 learners. All equipment is included within the price. Children under 8 years welcome but must be accompanied by a non-surfing adult. Please arrange this upon booking.

Private / Bespoke Sessions
Booking a private surf lessons allows your surf instructor to focus solely on you and/or your family. Well-suited for families with small children who want to surf altogether or individuals and couples who want to make accelerated progress.
PEAK SEASON: (July and August): Private sunrise and sunset sessions ONLY
OFF-PEAK: Flexible timing available
We can cater for all types of private group bookings – stag and hen groups, corporate and team building days, school, scout and university groups, and birthday parties (all ages over 8) – all welcome for surf, SUP and bodyboard sessions.

10 minutes before your session is due to start; by our trailer on Summerleaze beach car park, Bude.
What to bring
Swimwear and a towel, essential medication.
